Dr. Rad provides comprehensive orthodontic treatments and therapies for patients of all ages.
Treatment includes early interceptive therapy in children with mild to severe facial growth concerns. As orthodontists we are exclusively qualified to provide this type of treatment. The American Association of Orthodontist’s recommends an evaluation of children at age 7 to determine what if any treatment may be indicated.
The correction of crowded, crooked, spaced, and rotated teeth can be a concern from age 7 to 70. These types of dental problems can be successfully corrected in many ways by Dr. Rad. There are so many good options from regular braces, clear or ceramic braces, lingual braces, self ligating braces, removable aligners, and invisalign that one of these methods will provide you or your child with the smile that you have always wanted.
Orthodontic treatment is shorter and less uncomfortable than ever with the new self ligating brackets. These “SL” brackets are the state of the art in orthodontics and require less visits to the office, are smaller and therefore easier to clean than regular braces, and are very efficient resulting in shorter treatment times. Dr. Rad is very proud to be able to offer these fantastic options to their patients and welcome any questions or conversation about the future of orthdontics.
Dr. Rad also provides treatment of TMJ related issues and facial pain. In adults with severe bite problems and skeletal concerns, orthognathic surgery may be indicated for the corrections of these issues. Dr. Rad works closely with a brilliant team of dentists and doctors that most likely includes your dentist or doctor, to provide you the education and information that you need to make a confident decision for your treatment.
Don’t let pre-conceived ideas about orthodontics stop you from finding out if treatment is right for you. Consultations are always complimentary and we are conveniently located in Potomac and College Park. We look forward to seeing you soon and answering all of your questions.
